In Pakistan, the matches will be held at three venues: Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi, each hosting three group games. Lahore is set to host the second semi-final and the final on March 9, unless India qualifies, in which case the final will be played in Dubai. Both semi-finals and the final will include reserve days.
India’s three group matches and the first semi-final are scheduled to be played in Dubai.
The tournament kicks off with Pakistan facing New Zealand in the Group A opener in Karachi on February 19. Dubai’s fixtures begin the next day, with India playing against Bangladesh. Group B action starts on February 21, as Afghanistan takes on South Africa in Karachi.
A highly anticipated weekend follows, with England facing Australia in Lahore on February 22 and the much-awaited Pakistan-India clash taking place the day after.
The Champions Trophy features the top eight teams from the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 points table. Group A includes hosts and reigning Champions Trophy winners Pakistan, alongside India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. Group B comprises Cricket World Cup 2023 champions Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan, all vying for the prestigious white winners’ jackets.
All matches will be day-night encounters.
